I was so close to posting just how horrible the new death cab album is. which would be a sad story with all the countless times I repeated their last three albums – repeatable tunes from coney island to giants to sarah said… and all the tracks in between.
But the new album is horrible. it sounds distorted – I can’t understand the lyrics. In fact, it doesn’t even sound like them…
So, just as I was going to write them off as a dud – I realized – it isn’t them. whatever was leaked online was an april fools surprise featuring some German band named Velveteen. Good one. 
I was 75% fooled.
I guess the rest of us impatient folks will have to wait a lil longer for the real death cab release. So for right now, the new panic at the disco album will have to suck alone. what ever happened to the creepy-yet-oh-so-catchy debut album?
